Tummy Tuck

An Abdominoplasty, commonly called a Tummy Tuck, is a major surgical procedure in which excess skin and fatty tissues are removed from the lower abdomen, and the muscles of the abdominal wall may be tightened. Once stretched by pregnancy or weight gain, the abdomen often fails to return to its original shape. Because these tissues have been stretched beyond the capacity to return to normal, they will also fail to respond to exercise or diet programs.

This procedure can drastically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen and remove abdominal skin with stretch marks. The variations of this are the standard abdominoplasty and the mini-abdominoplasty, which is frequently combined with liposuction of the abdomen or waist.

Liposuction

Liposuction, also known as Liposculpture orĀ Suction Assisted Lipoplasty, is among the most commonly requested cosmetic surgery procedures. This surgical procedure is a technique for recontouring the body by permanently removing fat deposits using a blunt tipped, hollow cannula to suction out the fat cells. While exercise and diet may make you healthy, muscular, and lean, it does not always remove stubborn localized fat deposits.

Liposuction is best suited for localized fat deposits in troublesome areas that do not respond to dieting or exercise. Liposuction can be used to slim the hips and thighs, flatten the tummy, reduce the waist or love handles, or eliminate a double chin.

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is the plastic surgical procedure to reduce the size of large or asymmetrical labia minora, which are the flattened folds of skin or inner lips surrounding the entrance to the vagina. Because there is a significant variation in the size or amount of visible tissue in this area, it cannot be said that there is a normal amount or size of the labia minora for any woman.

The medical term of labial hypertrophy refers to oversized labia minora. There are many factors affecting the size of these tissues. This condition may arise through normal developmental processes, or it can appear later in life with aging or due to stretching during childbirth.
